I am so happy I get to meet so many stunning and strong mommas! It is so important to embrace each chapter through this life, and through each change of life. Your body does so much as mom, you deserve to feel absolutely gorgeous in your own skin!
“I chose to have a boudoir session to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. I’m a new mom with a new mom body and it’s taken a lot to get used to. I looked at myself with some very harsh eyes and needed to change that. I had heard such amazing things about Charity and her work so I wanted to see if she could help me get a better perspective.
I have always struggled with self worth, confidence, and image as I feel we all do at some point being women in the world we live in. Especially after birthing a child and the bodily changes that come with that you start to really down play your sexiness.
I was one that was blessed with multiple stretch marks, wider hips, and a bit more squish to try to figure out how to love. You have to start somewhere and I chose here. Pampering is something I always wanted to do but never did, it was always hard to spend money on myself but through this whole process I’ve learned that it’s okay to pamper yourself every now and again.
To prepare I got a couple new pieces of lingerie, got my nails/toes done, got waxed, and was tanned. When I arrived I was pampered again by Yesi and Jordan. Don’t get me wrong you don’t have to change anything about yourself to feel beautiful, but when you’re so used to doing everything for everyone else and don’t ever take the time or money for the things you want to do like me, the pre shoot activities helped in the act of tearing down my walls and finding my beauty and love for myself.
It’s so hard to choose just 1 thing as my favorite so I will give you a few of them. I was in absolute awe with Jordan and Yesi‘s magical powers to not only transform my look into above and beyond what I was wanting, but their fun bubbly energy that helped get me comfortable before my session.
Charity was so amazing during my whole experience from giving me clear instructions/demonstrations for poses that would complement my body, to hyping me up throughout the shoot boosting my confidence with each shot. Lastly after Charity edited my photos I got to come back to where all the magic happened and got to relive the moments again with her while she played a slide of all my pictures!”
